In the summer of 2024, a 25-year-old Black man named Cashmere Brown was fatally shot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The incident took place on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at approximately 1:50 p.m. on the 1400 block of North 54th Street.
