In the summer of 2014, a wave of gun violence troubled the city of Savannah, Georgia, and in the midst of it, a life was tragically cut short. Travis Rose, a 31-year-old African-American male, became a victim of this escalating violence on the night of June 14th. The evening turned fatal at the Madison Apartments, a west-side apartment complex, where the sound of gunfire shattered the night and ended a young man's life.
