Martell Antwine Hamilton, a 39-year-old Black man from Greenwood, South Carolina, spent the last night of his life in the familiar orbit of the city�s west side. On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, that routine was shattered on Taggart Avenue, a short neighborhood street lined with modest homes.
