On a Sunday afternoon in early May, a violent altercation inside a Detroit home on 33rd Street tragically cut short the life of 28-year-old May Hernandez. On May 5, 2024, first responders arrived at the residence to a grim scene, finding Hernandez deceased from a gunshot wound to the head. Another woman, 41-year-old Hollie Stoops, was also found dead at the scene with gunshot wounds to her head and back.
