In the early hours of July 10, 2024, the life of 21-year-old Taron Whiting, a Black male, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore. At approximately 1:18 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2500 block of Lauretta Avenue.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered Taron Whiting suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response of medics to the scene, Whiting�s injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced deceased.
