On December 18, 2005, Roberto Miranda Midico, aged 44, was shot and killed in Immokalee, Florida. The incident occurred around 9:00 PM when gunshots were reported, prompting deputies from the Collier County Sheriff's Office to respond. Upon arrival, Midico's body was found lying next to a wooden fence near an apartment complex on Tyler Avenue. He had suffered fatal gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
