Kareem Dotson, a 19-year-old Black male, was shot and killed in broad daylight on October 25, 2023, at a gas station in the 11100 block of St. Clair Avenue on Cleveland�s East Side. Police and reporters described a sprawling scene between the fuel pumps with more than forty evidence markers, and Dotson was pronounced dead at the site. A witness likened the rapid barrage of gunfire to �Desert Storm,� capturing the shock of an attack that unfolded amid daytime traffic and neighborhood footfall.
