On a spring day in southwest Georgia, the life of Tony Wallace, a 30-year-old Black man, was cut short by gun violence. The fatal shooting occurred on Friday, April 21, 2023, in the vicinity of Cuthbert, a small city in Randolph County. At the time of his death, Wallace was a husband and a father, known to some by the nickname 'Lil Tony.' He worked as a barber at Unique Images Barbershop and had attended Randolph Clay High School.
