In the summer of 2023, the life of 42-year-old Travis Lamar Caruthers, a male resident of Tifton, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Wednesday, July 5th, law enforcement from the Tift County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence at 1467 Shanna Drive. Upon their arrival, they discovered Caruthers suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Tift Regional Hospital, but the severity of his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
