Do you know who murdered Cindy Elrod? Caucasian / White female Cynthia �Cindy� D. Elrod, age 20, was discovered dead on the afternoon of August 23, 1983, in her home at the Kodzoff Trailer Park in Juneau's Mendenhall Valley. Alaska State Troopers were called around 1:30 p.m., and found her body in the bathroom; the cause of death was determined to be strangulation. The following day local histories recorded the case as a murder in the Kodzoff Acres trailer, a killing that would come to haunt Juneau for decades.
