On a Saturday afternoon in LaGrange, Georgia, the life of 20-year-old Gerald Jerome Burden Jr. was tragically cut short. The date was September 23, 2023, when police responded to a call of a person shot at the Woodglen Apartments on North Cary Street at approximately 1:32 p.m. Upon their arrival, they found Burden suffering from gunshot wounds.
