In a quiet subdivision in unincorporated Lilburn, Georgia, the night of Saturday, June 1, 2024, was shattered by the sounds of gunfire and screams. Around 11:30 p.m., concerned neighbors in the vicinity of Gwens Trail placed calls to 911. When Gwinnett County police officers arrived at the 3000 block of Betty Jean Court, they discovered the body of 28-year-old Terrence Weston, a male resident of nearby Lawrenceville. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
