On July 6, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at the Palmetto At Lakeside apartments in Orange County, Florida. The victim, identified as Jamel Brown, a 34-year-old man, was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
The incident took place around 2:30 a.m. in the 4400 block of South Rio Grande Avenue. Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff�s Office responded to the scene and found Brown with the fatal injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
