On January 26, 2017, White/Caucasian female Jaclyn �Jackie� Engman, age 25, was found dead inside her apartment in the Vinings Way community near Old Baltimore Pike in Newark, Delaware. New Castle County Police were dispatched around 6:30 a.m.; when officers entered the residence they found the 25-year-old victim in bed, deceased from a gunshot wound. The discovery stunned those who knew the 25-year-old as a young mother and student who had been working toward her bachelor's degree.
