Maurice Harrigan, a 37-year-old Black/African American male, was shot in Wilmington, Delaware, on Monday evening, December 6, 2021. The shooting was reported at about 7:51 p.m. in the unit block of East 27th Street, near Wilmington's Price Run community. When police arrived, they found Harrigan suffering from gunshot wounds, turning what began as an ordinary winter night into the scene of a fatal investigation.
