Debra Leonard, a 67-year-old White/Caucasian female from Dover, Delaware, died on January 7, 2022, after a shooting inside a home in the 200 block of Harriet Street. That Friday evening, at about 7:19 p.m., Delaware State Police were sent to the residence for a report of a shooting. The call came from Kyle Leonard, Debra's son, who told 911 that he had shot and killed his mother inside the home.
