Eric Walker, 27, male, of Milwaukee, was shot during an attempted home invasion at his mother�s house near the Midtown Center along Capitol Drive on December 1, 2014. The bullet and internal injuries left him paralyzed from the waist down, confined to a bed as his health steadily declined. Family remembered him as a gentle, promising athlete as they kept vigil through his long recovery and setbacks.
