In the winter of 2010, tragedy struck in West Philadelphia when Gerald Crittenton, a 30-year-old man, was fatally wounded in a shooting. The incident occurred on a Wednesday evening, shortly before 9 p.m., near the intersection of Millick and Arch Streets.
