In the late hours of a summer night in Pittsburgh's Spring Hill neighborhood, the life of Dante Beasley, a 22-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On August 16, 2011, gunshots echoed through Rhine Place, and when police arrived around 10:10 p.m., they discovered Beasley outside his residence with multiple gunshot wounds.
