Knockeem Kenta Goss, a 33-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was killed in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 13, 2014, only one day after his birthday. Police said officers were called to the 3600 block of North Warnock Street at about 2:48 a.m., where they found him lying in the street. The scene was already beyond rescue by the time emergency help arrived. Philadelphia Fire Department medics responded, but Goss had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
