Erenny Castro, a 30-year-old Hispanic male from Philadelphia, was killed on Monday, January 26, 2015, after a shooting in North Philadelphia that left him dead and another man critically wounded. Castro lived on the 200 block of Landis Street, and by the end of that winter evening, police were tracing the final moments of a violent encounter that appeared to have begun on the 2700 block of North 5th Street.
