John Cox, a 24-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was killed in the city late on Friday, March 27, 2015, inside a residence on the 4300 block of Elizabeth Street. Police responded at about 11:57 p.m. and found him in a second-floor apartment suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. An earlier archived police account described wounds to his chest and arms.
