In the late hours of a summer night in Philadelphia, the life of a young man who had overcome so much was tragically cut short. Izzadeen Burgos, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, was standing outside his home in the 400 block of West Wingohocken Street on July 19, 2015. It was shortly after 11 p.m. when an unidentified individual approached and shot him in the face.
