On a summer evening in Pittsburgh's Crafton Heights neighborhood, tragedy struck a man from New York. Shakiem H.B. Williams, a 41-year-old Black male, found his life cut short on July 30, 2015. Just before 9 p.m., the sound of multiple gunshots echoed through Woodlow Street, prompting calls to the Pittsburgh police. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Williams lying on the street, having succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at 8:53 p.m.
