Jose Gonzalez, a 24-year-old Hispanic male from Philadelphia, was murdered on Saturday, July 2, 2016, after a late-night shooting in the city�s 25th District. At about 10:22 p.m., Philadelphia police officers were called to the 3500 block of North Marshall Street, where they found Gonzalez suffering from several gunshot wounds to his back. The violence unfolded on a summer night in North Philadelphia, leaving officers to quickly move from response to rescue as they tried to get him medical help.
