In the early morning hours of Thursday, July 28, 2016, the life of Aaron Batte was tragically cut short. The 26-year-old Black male was discovered lying in the street on the 3900 block of North 16th Street in Philadelphia. Responding to a call at approximately 4:00 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers found Mr. Batte suffering from a gunshot wound.
