On the evening of August 12, 2016, a burst of violence on a residential street in Philadelphia claimed the life of 20-year-old Kristoff P. Campbell. The young Black male was shot on the 5600 block of Osage Avenue, the very neighborhood he called home. The incident occurred at approximately 5:25 p.m., a time when the day was still bright but a life was about to be cut short.
