On a Tuesday evening in Philadelphia, the 13th of December in 2016, tragedy struck on the 5000 block of Frankford Avenue. Twenty-nine-year-old Aaron Young, a Black male, was on the street when gunfire erupted at approximately 7:21 p.m. Philadelphia Police officers who responded to the scene discovered Young suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Aria-Torresdale Hospital for medical attention.
