On July 18, 2012, 36-year-old Jamel Cribbs was found dead in a vacant apartment in Columbus, Ohio. The gruesome nature of the crime shocked the local community. According to the coroner�s report, Cribbs had been both beaten and fatally shot in the head, with his body discovered with his head wrapped in plastic and his hands bound. His fianc�e, Jamilia Gammon, was also found deceased at the scene, her body fully wrapped in plastic, with suffocation identified as her cause of death.
