On May 16, 2017, 21-year-old Allen Palmer was shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred around 6:38 p.m. in the 1700 block of Sugarmaple Drive, near Parkmoor Elementary School. The shooting happened following an altercation between two young men in the front yard of a home.
