In the summer of 2026, the community of Reserve, Louisiana, was shaken by the violent and untimely death of 18-year-old Jacoi Cosey. On the evening of Wednesday, July 22nd, deputies from the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the intersection of Northwest First Street and Railroad Avenue following reports of a shooting.
