Alex Julian Calderon, a 16-year-old male from Lamont, was fatally shot after gunfire broke out late Saturday night, May 2, 2026, in southeast Bakersfield. Deputies with the Kern County Sheriff�s Office were called to the 100 block of East Pacheco Road, east of South Union Avenue, at about 10:30 p.m. after reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found two juvenile victims suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.
