In the early hours of May 12, 2026, a domestic dispute in a north Phoenix apartment complex near Interstate 17 and Dove Valley Road escalated into a fatal tragedy. Joseph Elmer Peixotto, a 50-year-old man, was shot and killed during a heated argument with his son.
