In the early hours of Tuesday, May 12, 2026, the life of 18-year-old Anthony Jagger "A.J." Burchfield was tragically cut short in Trumann, Arkansas. The young man, born on January 14, 2008, in Jonesboro, was found suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound on Birch Avenue. Emergency services were called to the scene around 12:45 a.m., and Burchfield was rushed to St. Bernards Healthcare in Jonesboro, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
