In the small town of Comer, Georgia, the life of 46-year-old Billy Jack Swafford was brought to an abrupt and violent end on May 18, 2026. Swafford, a self-employed small business owner, was found dead in his home on Osley Mill Road, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The discovery was made by Madison County Sheriff's deputies who were responding to a 911 call about a shooting at the residence.
