Daesean Anthony Moctezuma Orland, an 18-year-old male from Clermont, Florida, was shot and killed in the early morning hours of April 18, 2026, during a large house party at a vacation rental home in Davenport. The shooting happened just after 1:00 a.m. at a residence on Sommerset Hills Drive, in a gated vacation community near the ChampionsGate area. Deputies said the home had been rented as a Vrbo, and a large number of young people had gathered there before gunfire suddenly erupted.
