Kristopher Pride, a 25-year-old Black man from Buffalo, was riding a bicycle along the city�s East Side on July 17, 2013, when gunfire ripped through the summer evening. It happened on the 100 block of Keystone Avenue near Walden and Bailey, just before 7:30 p.m., a stretch of street where the ordinary rhythm of neighborhood life was suddenly replaced by panic and the sharp urgency of a 911 call.
