On the afternoon of May 23, 2025, Phillip Ogiemwonyi, 35, boarded a METRO bus in southwest Houston as the day ripened toward 2:30 p.m. An argument flared near the back of the bus and spilled toward the door at the 2100�2200 block of West Bellfort Avenue, just off Kirby.
