Dailyn Ford, 18, a male Black/African American from Youngstown, was shot in the early hours of June 18, 2025, on the city�s South Side. Responding officers found him after reports of gunfire near the 900 block of Lanterman Avenue, a residential stretch not far from Lanterman�s Mill. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, and the Mahoning County Coroner�s Office later confirmed his identity and the date of his death.
