In the early morning hours of Saturday, August 23, 2025, the life of 39-year-old Timothy Lavon Yates of Longs, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. The male victim was discovered seated in the driver's seat of his vehicle in the 2400 block of Plantation Drive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, Yates was pronounced dead at the scene.
