Ahlycia Brown, 22, a Black woman, was shot inside her apartment on the 2600 block of Tyrell Avenue on Youngstown�s West Side in the early morning hours of September 6, 2025. Officers were dispatched around 1:35 a.m. and found her inside the residence; lifesaving efforts were attempted but she was pronounced dead. Days later, the Mahoning County Coroner�s Office publicly identified her, noting an autopsy was conducted as the investigation continued.
