On a summer evening in Baker, Louisiana, tragedy struck the Freeman family. On July 7, 2025, 18-year-old Terrence Freeman, a recent graduate of Baker High School, was shot and killed on Seville Avenue. The male teenager was pronounced dead at the scene just after 6 p.m. His younger brother, Terrell, was also shot and rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
