On the afternoon of June 21, 2025, Edna Victoria Duran Arevalo, age 50, female, was found mortally wounded outside her home on the 100 block of Brookdale Avenue in San Francisco�s Sunnydale neighborhood. Officers responding around 3:45 p.m. rendered first aid, but Edna Victoria Duran Arevalo, age 50, female, died at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. A firearm was recovered, and witnesses told authorities they saw the shooting occur at close range.
