Ever Ivan Florez, 54, a male from Bakersfield, was shot shortly after midnight and died in the street where he fell. Just after 12:22 a.m. on July 8, 2025, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Pacheco Road for reports of a shooting. They arrived to find a victim on the ground and an alleged suspect still at the scene. The Kern County Coroner�s Office later identified the victim as Ever Ivan Florez, 54, and determined he died at the scene from gunshot wounds.
