Jeffrey Charles �Jeff� McNerney, a 19-year-old white male from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was tragically killed during the Christmas holiday period of 1975 while vacationing in the Florida Keys. At the time, he was on a holiday break from college. His body was discovered in an abandoned shack on Lower Matecumbe Key, with evidence suggesting he had been bludgeoned to death with a heavy digging tool.
