White male Jeremy Mark Zimmerman, 45, was shot and killed on the night of Friday, June 12, 2015, just north of downtown Las Vegas. Shortly after 8:25 p.m., police were called to the area of the 800 block of North D Street, beneath the Interstate 15 underpass, where Zimmerman had been struck by gunfire. He was later identified by the Clark County Coroner�s Office, which confirmed his age and name. Contemporary reports noted the killing marked one of Metro�s mounting homicide inquiries that year.
