On March 24, 2025, authorities in Henderson County, Texas, responded to a distress call regarding the shooting of 30-year-old Samantha Moore in the Bonita Point subdivision near Gun Barrel City. Samantha Moore, a Hispanic woman, was found with gunshot wounds on the front porch of her brother�s residence. Emergency responders transported her to UT Health Emergency Room in Gun Barrel City, but despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries.
