In a quiet Lindenhurst neighborhood, the life of 66-year-old Marek Gu?ciora was tragically cut short in what police have described as a murder-suicide. On a Monday afternoon, authorities were called to Gu?ciora's Nevada Street home following a 911 call about a man lying in the front yard. Upon their arrival at approximately 3:57 p.m., they discovered Gu?ciora with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
