Kevin Brown, a 50-year-old Black male, was found dead on a sidewalk in Los Angeles, California, on April 19, 2025. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office confirmed his identity and determined that his manner of death was homicide. The cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest. Formal pronouncement of death was made at 4:00 a.m. on that Saturday.
