Yosef Tulu, a 31-year-old Ethiopian immigrant, was tragically shot and killed on January 21, 2014, while working as a clerk at a 7-Eleven in Garland, Texas. Tulu was known for his friendly demeanor and was studying nursing with plans to marry his fianc�e in Ethiopia. His death sent shockwaves through the community, and a large crowd gathered for a vigil in his honor.
The investigation into Tulu's death led to the arrest of 18-year-old Colten Jon Moore, who was charged with capital murder.
